Retired physical therapy faculty members Claudette Finley and Martha Wroe have launched the Finley-Wroe Giving Challenge to benefit the PHHP department of physical therapy.
Collectively, Finley and Wroe served UF for 60 years, instructing and inspiring UF physical therapy students from the earliest days of the program in the late 1950s through 2001. Now, they are challenging alumni and friends to join them in supporting groundbreaking physical therapy research that will advance clinical practice.
“The future of this PT program is the thing that excites me about this challenge,” Finley said. “Because if people give, then our program will be in excellent condition, ready for these young people who will move on and become the leaders of our profession. Think about the excellent education you got, and give back to the college.”
To honor these pioneering physical therapy professionals and support current faculty and students, please make a gift.
